European tour. The backing band Easy Times is here. Sometimes "The Rocker" from Thin Lizzy was used to introduce the band. At the Astoria they supported Mogwai. Björk was spotted at the audience in Reykjavik. 13/04/99 New York, Anthology Film Archives, openers for Yo La Tengo, billed as Palace & Alan Licht.
They played two shows, the players were Will Oldham, Alan Licht and a drummer.
Among other songs "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" and King Kong's "Moviestar" and Bob Seger's
"Hollywood Nights" were played. They also did some spoken words.

Coast USA tour. The band is here. Quite rocking shows with 8 new coversongs, including the complete More Revery EP. "Dreaming My Dreams With You" is from Allen Reynolds. "Having Fun" is from Memphis Slim, only a few lines from this song are used to sing. Madeleine-Mary starts with an accapella piece and has a drumsolo. Bob Arellano starts West Palm Beach singing the first lines in Spanish. Brett Ralph from Rising Shotgun joins to sing Meaulnes and Speed To Roam plays along with the Dreaming My Dreams songs in Louisville. |
